About Bean & Buttercup

Buttercup and Bean are a shy but loving pair of guinea pigs looking for a calm, patient forever home. Still learning to trust humans, Buttercup and Bean do best in a quiet environment where gentle voices and slow movements can help them feel safe and supported. They thrive on a steady routine of unlimited hay (crucial for healthy digestion and teeth), fresh veggies like bell pepper, cucumber, romaine, and coriander, plus a source of vitamin C since guinea pigs can't produce their own. They also need plain, species-specific pellets, a spacious and well-ventilated cage with soft fleece or paper bedding, and lots of enrichment like tunnels, hideouts, and chew toys to keep them mentally active. Daily, gentle interaction is key to helping them grow in confidence and feel truly at home. Buttercup and Bean are waiting for someone to see their quiet magic.
