About Honcules
Meet Our Friendly Goose - Looking for a Loving Home!
This handsome goose is one of the friendliest around! He doesn't hiss when you approach or hold him, which is rare and refreshing for a goose. While he was a little submissive when first picked up - choosing not to run or fly away - he clearly prefers not to be carried. Instead, he calmly communicates his boundaries: if he's feeling uncomfortable or on alert, he'll puff up the feathers around his neck (a bit like hackles on a dog). It's his way of saying, "I need some space right now."
He enjoys spending most of his time in the outdoor section of his run, soaking up the sun and even making his bed there. While he hasn't yet shown interest in using his shell pool, he will make his way to the indoor area when he's hungry or thirsty - he knows where to find the good stuff!
