Hi there,
My name is Jack and I am an older beautiful German shepherd finally on the lookout for my forever home! Could this be with you?
I was surrendered to the RSPCA as my previous owner could no longer look after me, but don't be sad for me the staff have done a wonderful job looking after me while I patiently wait for my new family to find me.
Let's talk about my ideal home, I would love to be able to freely access indoor and outdoor areas, I like to explore the yard and then find the perfect spot to watch the world go by preferably in the sun. I also love to be inside while my friends are working and sleep in my crate with a pigs ear or a chew of some kind!
I will need an amazing new family that has breed experience with German shepherds. I have great basic training and I'm a well behaved boy but I will need a owner that is dedicated to ongoing training. The staff at RSPCA can help you to find the best trainer for me!
I would also love to go for walks but preferably at quiet times of the day where I will see less dogs because they make me uncomfortable and I like to bark at them. I am not suited to going to the dog park or to high dog traffic areas but if you want a dog who just loves to hang around and be with you I'm the boy for the job!
