Slate is a brown tabby and white boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's a natural conversationalist, happily sharing his thoughts in soft meows, chirps, and purrs as he follows you around the house.

This sweet, social guy loves connection - but like many cats, he appreciates people who can read his cues. Slate does best with older children who understand feline body language, especially when he's feeling playful or a little overstimulated. He's expressive, and once you know his signals, he's an absolute delight to live with.

Slate enjoys cuddles, company, and having a say in the day's events, but he also has an adventurous streak. He would prefer a home with a secure outdoor catio or enclosed cat run, giving him the chance to safely explore the sights and smells of the outdoors while still living the comfy indoor life he deserves.
