Hi... I'm California.I'm 3 years old, and I'm a gentle, quietly affectionate kind of guy. I can be a little shy when we first meet - new places and new people take me a bit of time to feel comfortable in - so it might take me a while to build my confidence and really branch out. But with patience and a calm home, I'll get there at my own pace.One thing you should know about me is that I can be quite vocal. I like to "chat" in my own way - especially when I'm getting to know you or when I want a bit of attention. It's just me saying hello or letting you know I'm around.Once I feel safe, I really enjoy being near my people. I like soft pats, quiet company, and having a cozy spot where I can relax and observe everything. I'm not demanding, but I do show my affection in gentle ways - a soft nudge, a slow blink, or curling up nearby when I'm comfortable.I'm past my kitten chaos days, so I'm pretty easygoing and happiest with a calm routine and a peaceful environment.I'd suit a patient home that understands I need a little time to settle in. Once I do, I'll be a loyal, loving companion who's always happy to have a chat.I might be shy at first... but I've got a lot of love (and conversation) to share.
