About Storm
Storm is a sweet, social kitten who may be a little timid when first entering a new environment and will benefit from a gentle, slow transition into his new home. It is recommended that he start off in a small, quiet area with access to food, water, litter, and comfortable hiding spots, while blocking off hard‑to‑reach areas and any potential escape gaps. Allowing Storm time to settle before gradually opening up the rest of the house will help prevent him from becoming overwhelmed by large open spaces. His environment should include plenty of enrichment such as scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes or cat igloos, and access to both high and low resting spots like shelves or dressers to provide a variety of safe spaces throughout the home.
Storm would be best suited to a patient and understanding adopter who recognises that he may take some time to adjust and gain confidence before showing his true personality. He may do well in a household with teens or older children who understand basic cat body language and can respect his need for space when required. As a social kitten, Storm may benefit from living with a more confident cat who can help guide him and build his confidence. He may also be able to live with a calm, social dog, provided introductions are slow and interactions are carefully monitored to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
