About D'Artagnan
Meet D'Artagnan - a shy, soft‑hearted Muscovy with a curious spark and a truly special soul.
D'Artagnan has had very little human exposure, so they can be quite timid to start with. But beneath that shyness is a gentle curiosity - they watch quietly from a comfortable distance and slowly warm up as they begin to feel safe. With patience, calm interactions, and a quiet environment, D'Artagnan will gradually show their sweet, thoughtful personality.
One of the most endearing things about D'Artagnan is how deeply they bond with other ducks. They especially shine when paired with a duck who is sick, injured, or vulnerable - offering gentle companionship and steady comfort. They are truly a nurturing presence within a flock.
While their name is D'Artagnan, we aren't certain of their sex, so their new family should be happy to welcome this lovely duck regardless of whether they're male or female.
D'Artagnan would thrive in a peaceful home with other ducks to form connections with, and with humans who understand that trust grows slowly and beautifully. If you're looking for a kind‑hearted flock member who brings calm, caring energy, D'Artagnan may be the perfect fit
If you think this duck might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today and include photos of your enclosure/coop and water source/s along with photos of the fences and land they will be roaming on.
