About Queen

Queen is a female King Quail with a gentle, quiet temperament. She is a ground-dwelling bird who requires secure, fully enclosed housing with soft bedding and protection from weather and predators. A sheltered indoor enclosure or protected aviary is recommended.

Queen needs a balanced diet consisting of quality quail or finch seed mix, game bird or quail crumble, fresh leafy greens in moderation, and constant access to clean water, grit, and calcium.

She can live with another calm female or a gentle male and is best suited to a quiet home. King quail are not hands-on birds and should not be handled frequently. Queen is not suitable for households with young children.

Her ideal home will have appropriate housing already set up and a caregiver who understands or is willing to learn the specific needs of small quail.
