About Benny
Meet Benny 💙
Benny came into RSPCA care at just 6 weeks old suffering from puppy strangles—an uncommon but serious autoimmune and inflammatory skin condition. Despite this challenging start, he has flourished in foster care and has grown into a happy, affectionate young pup.
Benny has lived successfully with young children, cats, and other dogs, and he especially loves having canine companions around. He's a true velcro dog who enjoys being close to his people and would benefit greatly from a home with another friendly dog to help build his confidence and provide companionship when his humans aren't around.
Like many young puppies, Benny can be a little unsure of new things (the vacuum cleaner is particularly suspicious!), so he'll need continued positive experiences and gentle exposure to help him grow into a confident adult dog.
When he's not by your side, you'll find Benny curled up in his bed, following his four-legged friends, snoozing in a washing basket, or zooming around with his favourite toys. He loves to play and is great at entertaining himself, especially with squeaky toys and balls.
Benny has already started toilet training and is making good progress, but he'll need ongoing support, socialisation, and guidance as he continues to learn about the world.
If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion who will happily be your shadow and fill your home with affection, Benny could be the perfect match.
