Hi there, I’m Genie!

I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a quiet, demure nature and a soft, loving heart.

I can be a little shy when we first meet, so I’m hoping for someone patient who will give me the time I need to feel safe and come out of my shell. Once I know you though, I’ll be right by your side… following you around like your own little shadow. And when I’ve had my fill of love and attention, you’ll usually find me curled up in the softest, coziest spot I can find for a well-earned nap.

While I was in foster care, I really started to show my loving personality. At first, I was a bit unsure and took things slowly, but as I settled in and learned to trust my carers, I began to relax and enjoy being part of the home. I discovered how lovely it is to share the couch with my humans, watching TV together, leaning in for gentle chin scratches, cuddles, and enjoying a nice brush once we’ve become best friends. Those calm, everyday moments are some of my absolute favourites.

I really thrive on routine and a peaceful lifestyle, so I’d be happiest in a calm, quiet home. I’m looking for a home with no children under 12, and I would prefer to be your one and only pet so I can truly relax and soak up all the love without having to share my space. Once I’ve settled in, I’m incredibly loving, and I do enjoy a good lap cuddle when I’ve chosen my person.

My dream home would be somewhere peaceful, with sunny spots to stretch out in, plenty of space to gently explore, and a safe little nook where I can retreat when I need some quiet time.
