Hi, I’m Wendy—a gentle, one-year-old domestic short hair with a soft heart and an even softer spot for pats. I might be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, I’ll quietly seek you out for those special moments of affection. I’m the kind of companion who forms deep, meaningful bonds—you just have to give me a little time.

When I first arrived at the RSPCA, I had a tough start and was feeling quite scared of the world. But I’ve shown just how brave I can be. With care and patience, I’ve been learning that life can be safe and full of kindness. I’m currently in foster care, continuing my journey and growing more confident every day.

I’m looking for a calm, understanding home where I can settle in at my own pace. I really appreciate having space to observe and adjust, and I’ll thrive with someone who can gently read my signals—knowing when I’m ready for cuddles and when I’d prefer a little quiet time.

As I build trust, my sweet and loving personality will shine through more and more. I just need someone patient who believes in me. Because I can still be a little sensitive, I’d be happiest in a home without young children (under 6).
