About Anja
Hi there my name is Anja and I am a beautiful sweet girl looking for a family to call my very own. My new owners need to be aware that even though I am a big girl I am also a lap dog and take every available opportunity to curl up on you and fall asleep!!
When I arrived at the shelter I was very unsure of life, the staff here have fallen in love with me and done some amazing work with me to get me ready to meet my new family. I would love for my new family to be able to continue to work on my confidence so that I can feel safe in the world. It would be amazing if I can go to a home that is on the quieter side of life where I can have access to both indoor and outdoor areas. I am an easy girl who would just love to lay beside you and hopefully if I am lucky share some of your food.
I will need to go to a home with no children as I can become unsure of louder noises and sudden movements, I think once I build my confidence I would be fine but I have a lot of work to do before I would be comfortable living with children.
As I have been in the shelter for quite some time now I have gotten over being surrounded by dogs so I will need to go to a home where I will be the only dog so that I can have some time to decompress and enjoy the quiet without having to share it with another dog.
If you think I could be the big beautiful girl for you please make sure you bring the whole family into the shelter to say hi, I can hardly wait to meet you and hopefully start our adventures together.
