Background:
Benji came to us from Rocky Pound, where he was found with what appears to be his sister. They got along beautifully, showcasing his friendly and social nature. He's been introduced to several dogs at the fence and has had zero issues, demonstrating his ease with canine companionship. He has also enjoyed playful moments with a puppy named Lilly in the yard.

Behavior:
While we are unsure of Benji's full history, he did exhibit some nervousness when toys were thrown nearby, indicating that he may need a little time to adjust to new experiences. However, with his sweet personality and gentle demeanor, he is sure to flourish in a loving home.

Ideal Home:
Benji would make a wonderful family dog! He keeps his kennel tidy and settles down well, indicating he's ready to be part of a household routine. He would love to live indoors with a family who appreciates his affectionate nature. Active families who enjoy spending time together would be the perfect fit for him.

Benji walks nicely on a harness, though he can get a bit excited and pulls enthusiastically towards other dogs. He would greatly benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training to help him continue to grow and thrive.
