About Wombat
Hello, my name is Wombat,
I'm a little on the shy side so I need to be adopted with my best mate Waffles 193917. With some time to settle we will be a great addition to your family.
Guinea Pigs are social creatures who need the companionship of other guinea pigs.
Guinea pigs need to be inside 90% of the time as they are sensitive to the heat and cold.
They love some outside playtime when the weather is suitable, you will need to supervise them and; have a safe run/pen for them to play in.
Guinea Pigs make wonderful pets and most do enjoy human interaction once they feel they are safe.
Living indoors, at the heart of the family will really help them to build trust with you and; will aid the bonding process.
Guinea pigs are naturally shy so adding some tunnels and hides to their pen will help them to feel safe and settle in.
Slow and gentle daily handling will help to build their confidence and socialization.
Guinea Pigs need a fresh, daily supply of dry food, hay, veggies and water as well as adequate amounts of vitamin C.
If you think you can provide this for us, please come and meet us!
Adoption fee: $30 for the pair of us! ($15 each)
**Guinea pigs are not available as solo pets and must not be housed in the same pen as rabbits or chickens **
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
