Meet Donatella - a vibrant and strong-willed hound who is ready to find her forever home!
Donatella is house-trained and knows a few tricks, but like many hounds, she requires supervision inside. She's incredibly food-motivated, which makes her a great candidate for training, and she loves interacting with people on her own terms. Whether it's puzzle toys, learning new tricks, or exploring new environments, she'll be happiest when her mind and body are engaged.
This sweet girl is still getting used to other dogs so she would love to be the only pet in the home, and would thrive with lots of guidance on walks. Donatella would do best with a patient family of older teens and adults who can help her build her foundational skills and keep her engaged. She will need guidance on channelling her energy levels to settle and would benefit from crate training.
Being a Hound, she will require tall, secure fencing a large yard filled with Kongs, bones and toys to keep her engaged while she's alone. Donatella is looking for a home that understands her hound instincts and will benefit from a handler who can provide consistent, positive training.
