About Squirrel
Hi! My name is SquirrelI was given my name when I first got to the shelter because I was so scared I would run up the walls the same way a squirrel would run up a tree but since going into foster care I have made fantastic progress and every day I get a little braver. Since I returned to the shelter, I have been coming over to sniff my carer's hands and lean in for some cheek scratches. I've even started to enjoy being picked up and cuddled for a short time, lots of purring!!I love other cats and even dogs.I will continue to flourish in a new loving home; I've come so far already. My ideal home is...- A quieter home without very young children as I am nervous about lots of noise and activity.- One with toys! I would love a home with lots of toys and things to keep me busy.- I would love a home with other fur-friends.Other pets at home? No worries! - If you choose to adopt a cat that is suitable to live with other animals, it is important that a slow introduction over the course of a few weeks is followed, to ensure a smooth transition into your home for your newly adopted friend, and to not upset any existing furry residents! Please ask our staff for more information.I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite prevention. I have lots of love to give, please come and meet me as soon as you can.Adoption fee: $249My adoption price includes:- My desexing, microchip and vaccination
