About Teddy

Blu and Teddy are a cute little bonded pair who are looking for their forever homes.
Teddy has white cheek feathers and Blu has blue cheek feathers.
They love green veggies/seeds, too. They prefer dry seed to pellets and won't eat their pellets if dry seed is offered regularly, they'll hold out until seed arrives.
Their favourite fresh veggies are:
1. Freshly picked green bird grass seed (grown from seed trash)
2. Celery leaves and small stems
3. Snow pea sprouts
They will devour any seed treat or millet spray to the exclusion of all other food, so use with caution!

They adore out-of-cage flight time, but aren't easy to catch yet. They will return to their cage at dusk, so just leave the door open.
If unable to have out-of-cage time, they should have a big enough cage to decently fly in, because they love it. They're mad about swings and will fight over them, so offer more than 1.
They love chewing the bark off their perches, so regularly updated natural perches with any kind of bark on them are recommended.

They are just starting to become hand-tame and will jump onto your hand if you're holding food. They will continue to get tamer if worked with. Food is a huge motivator for them and they should be easy to train.
They pick up whistles and words very quickly, so they'll be big talkers.

They like to bathe regularly, so they need a bowl of water every couple of days.

They chatter and sing whenever they're awake. Very happy little birds.
