About Mara

Mara is a whole vibe. Mara is an affectionate, food-motivated, toy-loving goofball who lives for a game of ball, soft toys, and dunking her whole head in the pool just for fun. She's the kind of girl who'll climb into your heart-and possibly onto your furniture-before you even know what hit you.
She adores people and will lean right into you for pats, snuggles on the couch, and the occasional accidental leg entanglement (don't worry, she's fine-and extremely dramatic about it). Mara is tactile, social, and wants to be in the thick of the action, even if that means climbing over the furniture to get to you.
On the flip side, Mara can be a bit unsure when it comes to other dogs. She's had calm, polite greetings and does well with gentle, respectful dogs, but fast movement or over-the-top greetings can leave her feeling a little tense. She's doing her best to figure it all out and would love a home where she doesn't have to be a socialite with every dog she meets.
