About Chick-Pea
Hey there
Somethings to know about me:
- My name is Chick-Pea and I am 5-weeks-old!.
- I currently live with my sibling and mumma! We must be adopted together.
- We will be required to be housed in a large outdoor bird aviary where we can get use to our new home.
- What is really cool about me and my sibling is, unlike chickens, we actually need to learn how to be a peacock from our mumma teaching us until we get to around 18 weeks old when we start to become a little more independent. However, we still need to stay with her until we are at least 6 months old!
FUN FACT about peacocks we are homing birds! Meaning once we have lived in a place for around 18 months (give or take a few there), we can be free ranged! It is recommended that we do get locked up overnight back into an aviary where we will feel safe from any foxes or cats that might be roaming around
Please come in and meet us! Our carers know a lot about peacocks, and we would love to find our forever home.
Adoption fee: $80 for myself and two chicks - we must be adopted together!
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
