About Missy

Missy is a sweet, mature cat who came into RSPCA care after her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She lived a quiet life and was initially overwhelmed in the shelter, but has since warmed up and shown her affectionate side. Missy enjoys cheek and chin rubs and, once comfortable, will seek out pats and cuddles. Though she may not eat when stressed, she loves treats when relaxed.

Missy needs to start in a small, quiet room to settle before exploring more space, as she can be easily overwhelmed. She'll thrive with access to hiding spots like boxes, igloos, cat trees, and shelves. A patient, understanding adopter is essential-someone who will give her time to adjust and let her personality shine.

Missy must be the only cat in the home. She may possibly adjust to a calm, respectful dog if carefully introduced. A home with teens or older children who can respect her space is recommended. With love and patience, Missy will be a loyal and loving companion.
