About Blondie
Blondie is a timid but sweet girl who blossoms once she feels safe and comfortable. She'll need a calm home with adults who can give her the time and patience she needs to build trust. Once she warms up, she enjoys pats (especially when you're seated) and will happily come out of her shell in the afternoons and evenings.Blondie is cat-friendly and has lovely house manners - she's fully toilet trained, settles well inside, and is a good eater. Like many young Goldens, she does enjoy chewing, so she'll need tough chew options like deer antlers or thick wooden branches to keep her occupied. The key to Blondie's happiness is companionship. She thrives with another dog in the home, especially one who loves to play. When she has a playmate to chase around the yard and share toys with, she's confident and joyful. Without another dog, she becomes withdrawn and disinterested. For this reason, Blondie's forever home must include another Golden Retriever who can be her best friend.Blondie enjoys her walks and is great on a harness and lead, though she prefers to keep moving rather than stopping for chats with other people or dogs. She loves her toys, especially collecting them on her bed, and will chase after tennis balls and other toys when she has a playmate to join in.Blondie is looking for a patient family who understands her gentle nature and can give her the canine companionship she needs. With another Golden by her side, she will shine into the playful, affectionate girl she's meant to be.My adoption price includes: A FREE 4kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $450 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
