About Gandalf

Meet Gandalf, the wise (and occasionally cheeky) African Grey Parrot.

Gandalf isn't just named after a wizard - he is a bit magical in his own right. With a deep, distinctive voice, he loves to say "hello" and will often throw you off with perfectly timed phone notification sounds that might have you reaching for your mobile! One of his favourite pastimes? Watching cartoons - he's quite the critic and enjoys the colours, sounds, and company.

Like most African Greys, Gandalf is incredibly intelligent and thrives on mental stimulation. He enjoys foraging for his food and looks forward to daily training sessions. While his speech isn't fully clear in care, he's still a chatty fellow and loves engaging with his people. He'll often step up when invited and absolutely melts for some gentle head scratches.

Gandalf will need ongoing behavioural support in the home and is best suited to an experienced or advanced bird handler who understands the complex needs of African Greys.
