About Pine
Hi, I'm Pine and I have quite a story to tell. The kind staff and volunteers from the RSPCA rescued me and my friends from an isolated life with little no human interaction and brought us here to the shelter. Due to my limited exposure to the real world, I was incredibly timid, even fearful at times; however, the staff and volunteers here have been amazingly patient and gentle with me, and I have gained so much confidence. I've been here for a few weeks now so it's time to find my forever home!I need someone who understands that my upbringing was not 'Normal' and that the most important time for me to be socialised was missed, this will affect me for the rest of my life. Things that may be exciting for other doggies were very overwhelming for me and I still need some medication to help me cope with the unpredictability of everyday life.My new owner must be patient with me and respect my boundaries, the most progress is made when I feel safe, not pressured. The person opening their home to me will have to be dedicated, patient and understand that what may seem like a small win to others is a huge win for me. Just to live a life with consistent meals, a warm bed and people who care for me is more than I could have ever imagined.I could live with full-time workers (provided I have a settling-in period) and calm children who give me plenty of space and time to myself.I could also live with another dog as a companion. If you have time and love in your heart to take me into your home, then please head down to the RSPCA shelter in Malaga to discuss adopting me with one of our adoption officer.Maybe I'll meet you soon.
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
