About Benny

Benny is a playful, active young boy bursting with energy and enthusiasm for life! He's best suited to a home where he'll be allowed indoors and included as part of the family. Benny absolutely loves his toys and treats, and with his eager-to-please personality, he's sure to bring lots of joy to the right home.When Benny first came into care, he was underweight and is still learning to slow down when it comes to food. He can be a little snatchy with treats and eats quickly, so we recommend using food-based enrichment and impulse control games to help him build better habits and keep his clever mind engaged.As a young dog, Benny will benefit from ongoing training, starting with basic cues. His food motivation and willingness to learn mean he's likely to pick things up quickly with consistent, positive guidance.Benny would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, at least during the early days as he adjusts.
