About Arlo

Arlo is an affectionate, toy-loving boy who's looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and supported. While he enjoys being close to his people, he can be uncomfortable with certain types of handling so he will need owners willing to go at his pace and be gentle with him.

He already knows sit, drop, and shake, and is very food motivated, making him a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training. Arlo walks well on a harness after an excited start and enjoys exploring the world through sniffing and play.

He'll do best in a quiet home with a predictable routine, ongoing support to build confidence with touch and vet care, and gentle, structured enrichment. He's best suited as the only dog in the home for now but may enjoy calm, well-managed dog interactions outside. Teens are fine, but young children may be too much. A secure yard with indoor access is essential.
