About Summer
Summer is a sweet, sensitive young girl who's been through a lot in her short life. Trapped and brought into the shelter fearful and unsure of people, she's made incredible progress and is now ready to find a home where she can continue to grow and thrive.
While she's still learning to fully trust the world around her, Summer has a soft, affectionate heart that shines once she feels safe. She doesn't yet have the confidence to seek out attention, but once settled, she absolutely loves it - purring up a storm, kneading like a pro, and even drooling with contentment when she's truly relaxed.
She's a chatty girl, especially when she's feeling unsure or looking for some reassurance. Open spaces can be overwhelming for her, so she'll need to start her journey in a smaller, quiet room before gradually exploring more of her home. She also enjoys company of other social cats, helping her feel safe and showing her the ropes.
Summer has a fondness for clay litter (a girl who knows what she likes!) and is a fan of toys - particularly ones she can collect and carry back to her bed.
She'll do best in a calm home with older, respectful children or teens who can give her the space and understanding she needs to feel safe. Once she trusts you, you'll be rewarded with the love of an affectionate, biscuit-making cuddlebug who just wants to be loved in return.
