About Max
Meet Max, a white Fancy Pigeon.
What is a Fancy Pigeon breed?
Fancy Pigeons are specialised breeds kept by hobbyists and pigeon fanciers. Some hobbyists show their pigeons in competitions, similar to dog shows. Others keep Fancy Pigeons as personal pets. There are many varieties of Fancy Pigeons including breeds like Pouters, Tumblers, and Owls.
Max is a unique character who loves showers and being misted with the hose-a real water enthusiast! While he can be reactive towards females, he's also known to cuddle into hands and enjoy head scratches, suggesting his behaviour may be more about individual preference than gender.
If you think Max might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today: https://www.rspcaqld.org.au/expression-of-interest-to-adopt.
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
