About Marco
Hola, amigo! My name is Marco,
Personality Overview:
Sir Marco is a refined and independent guinea pig who's never been one to follow the crowd. Unlike most guinea pigs who find comfort in the company of their own kind, Sir Marco prefers the companionship of humans over his fellow pigs. He's a bit of a lone wolf-err, lone guinea pig-and while he may share a space with others, he's always the first to show that he'd rather be hanging out with his favorite human than socializing with the herd.
Likes:
Human Interaction: He thrives on one-on-one attention. Whether it's sitting in your lap for a cozy cuddle or following you around the room, Sir Marco will always be the first to greet you at the cage with a little happy wheek.
Quiet Time: Sir Marco isn't one for the usual guinea pig chaos-he prefers quieter, more peaceful moments. He enjoys gentle strokes, quiet chats, and simply hanging out while his human works, reads, or watches TV.
High-Quality Treats: While he may not be an overly vocal pig, his eyes light up when he sees fresh veggies or the occasional fruit treat. He's a bit of a food connoisseur, preferring the finest leafy greens to the everyday pellets.
Exploring with His Human: Sir Marco loves to explore outside his cage, especially when accompanied by his human. He'll trot around confidently, always keeping an eye on his favorite person for reassurance.
• Guinea pigs are social creatures who need the companionship of other guinea pigs.
• Guinea pigs love to run around and thrive spending time in a safe space outside when the weather is suitable.
• Guinea pigs are naturally shy so adding some tunnels and hides to their pen will help them to feel safe and settle in.
• Guinea Pigs need a fresh, daily supply of dry food, hay, veggies and water.
• Due to their size and anatomy, desexing guinea pigs is high risk and it is therefore recommended that they are kept in same sex pairs instead.
Adoption fee: $15
Guinea pigs must not be housed in the same pen as rabbits or chickens.
