About Hugo
Hello my name is Hugo,I am bonded with my friend Charlie and we must be adopted together.I'm a little shy right now, but I promise I'm worth the wait. Loud noises and sudden movements can scare me, so I'll need a quiet, patient home to help me feel safe. Once I trust you, I'll slowly come out of my shell- and you'll see my sweet, gentle personality shine. I just need time, kindness, and someone who believes in me. Once I know I am safe and loved, I'll show you how truly affectionate guinea pigs can be.Some things to know about Guinea Pigs:· Guinea pigs are social creatures who need the companionship of other guinea pigs.· Guinea pigs are sensitive to heat and cold and do best indoors or in a climate controlled area.· Guinea pigs love to run around and thrive spending time in a safe space outside when the weather is suitable.· Guinea pigs are naturally shy so adding some tunnels and hides to their pen will help them to feel safe and settle in.· Guinea Pigs need a fresh, daily supply of dry food, hay, veggies and water.· Due to their size and anatomy, desexing guinea pigs is high risk and it is therefore recommended that they are kept in same sex pairs instead.Adoption fee: $30 for the pair of us! **Guinea pigs are not available as solo pets and must not be housed in the same pen as rabbits or chickens **
Dear Visitor, please note a property check may be required before adoption to ensure the safety and welfare of our animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties.
Please note that this website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that by the time you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted by another party. We unfortunately can not put animals on hold over the phone.
