About Freya

Meet Freya - A Sweet Girl with a Big Heart!

Named after the Norse goddess of love and beauty, Freya truly lives up to her name. This lovely lady started off a little shy in foster care, but once she felt safe, her affectionate nature quickly shone through. She now follows her humans from room to room, "supervises" from her favourite window hammock, and even greets her foster carer at the door after work.

Freya adores head and chin scratches, and she'll happily show her delight with her twitchy, vibrating tail. At mealtimes, she'll make sure you know exactly when breakfast and dinner are due! She's also quite the character in the kitty litter tray - kicking up a storm and carefully cleaning her paws in a way that's both hilarious and endearing.

While she has occasionally joined her foster carer on the bed, Freya usually prefers snoozing in her hammock, either keeping an eye on the outside world or quietly watching over her people.

Freya would do best in a home with children who understand gentle cat body language. She hasn't been tested with other pets, so a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence would be ideal.
