About Otto
Say hello to Otto!
Otto is an affectionate little guy who would love a home where he is allowed indoors and is included in the family. He enjoys being with his people, sitting up on your lap for cuddles whenever he gets the opportunity.
Despite being such a small fellow, Otto loves his walks and will require daily physical exercise as well as mental stimulation (e.g. puzzle toys) to keep his mind busy and happy. He knows 'sit' well and will thrive with continued training. Make sure you have some treats on hand for this!
Otto must meet the whole family at the time of adoption as he can sometimes be a little unsure by new people and has shown some mouthiness during play during his time in care. This is to ensure that everyone is happy, and to make sure that Otto is the right fit for the family.
Otto is dog social and may do ok with another dog friend in the home. Though, he has shown some jealousy type behaviour in his previous home when getting attention from people with other dogs around. It is essential for all dogs to meet before proceeding with the adoptions and new owners will need to be able to monitor and manage this behaviour in the home.
