About Rosie
Meet Rosie!
Rosie is a sweet, affectionate older girl with a playful sparkle and a heart full of love. She adores people and truly wants to be part of the family - whether that means rolling over for belly rubs or attempting to curl up in your lap like the big cuddle bug she is.
Rosie would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. She's best suited to being the only pet, as she has a strong prey drive and would prefer a home without cats, small animals, or livestock. For this reason, rural living wouldn't be the right fit for her.
This lovely lady enjoys her toys, especially tennis balls, and is happy entertaining herself. She's still learning the art of fetch and would love adopters willing to continue her training, including cues like "leave it" and impulse control to help her succeed.
Rosie enjoys being indoors with her people and will happily travel along for car rides. Outside time may need supervision, as she can be curious about wildlife. She can get excited at times and may jump up, so a home with older, steady children would be ideal - though families familiar with Staffy personalities may be a good match too.
While Rosie is polite around other dogs, she isn't particularly interested in canine companionship and would be happiest soaking up all the love as the one and only dog in the home.
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be included in family life, Rosie may be the perfect match for you!
