About Max

Max is a lovely, quiet-natured gelding who has recently come off the track. Max unfortunately arrived in our care as he was not being taken care of properly and was underweight. Despite his racing background, he's proving to be easy to handle and a pleasure to work with. He's great to catch, good with his feet, and has a calm demeanor that suggests he'll transition beautifully into a new home. Max has had a full vet check and currently has no ongoing medical issues.

He's currently on two hard feeds a day along with hay, but he appears to be a good doer. Max is still a thoroughbred, so he'll benefit from a knowledgeable and patient home that understands the needs of off-the-track horses. With the right person, he's sure to blossom into a wonderful companion or riding partner.

Ideal Home:
Someone experienced with OTTBs or willing to continue his education with kindness and consistency. He has a lot of potential and will make a lovely horse for someone willing to give him the time and care he deserves. Max's height is 16.1hh.
