Meet Poppet
Poppet is a sweetheart with a whole lot of love to give. Just one year old, she's already been a devoted mum to a litter of kittens, which is why she's on the smaller side - but don't let her size fool you. Now that she's settling into foster care, her playful, smoochy, cuddle‑loving personality is shining through. As her foster carer writes, she's already zooming happily around the lounge room.

Poppet can be a little timid when she first arrives somewhere new, but she gains confidence quickly with gentle reassurance. Starting her off in a small launch room will help her feel secure as she adjusts, before she gradually explores the rest of the home at her own pace.

To help her feel safe, Poppet appreciates cozy hideaways like cardboard boxes, cat igloos, scratch posts, cat trees, and access to shelves or dressers. Having both high and low safe spots gives her the confidence to relax and observe her surroundings comfortably.

She'd thrive in a calm home with teens or older children who understand when she needs a little space. Poppet prefers to be the only pet - she loves having her humans all to herself.

Play therapy is a great outlet for her energy, and her adopter should encourage play with toys rather than hands, pausing interactions if she becomes a bit mouthy or over‑excited.
