About Chutney
Chutney is a shy, sensitive lad looking for a calm and patient home where he can be allowed to settle at his own pace. He is a very social and affectionate boy but needs a little time to feel safe and confident with new people.Chutney would thrive with someone who is home more often than not, or who works from home, as he enjoys human company and may find being left alone challenging at first. Gradual training will be needed to help him manage time alone, such as leaving him in a room with music or TV, using white noise, or trying Adaptil spray. If there is another dog in the home, this will also need careful management, as Chutney loves attention and can be possessive. He has shown he can climb over a 6ft fence in the shelter, so a secure, solid 6ft colourbond fence is essential, with only supervised time in the yard until he is more settled.Chutney will do best in a home with structure and routine, which will help him feel secure and confident. With patience, understanding, and consistent care, he will become a loyal and loving companion, rewarding his family with affection and devotion. My adoption price includes: A FREE 4kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $450 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
