About Ember

Ember is a sweet but shy lady who will need to start in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the home. She can become overwhelmed in large spaces, so a slow, gentle introduction will help her feel safe.
Her new home should offer plenty of cat-friendly resources, including scratch posts, cat trees, boxes, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers. Providing both high and low hiding options throughout the house will give her the secure spaces she needs as she gains confidence.
Ember will do best with a patient, understanding adopter who recognizes that she may be timid at first and will need time to show her true personality. Teens or older children who can read and respect cat body language are recommended.
Once she feels comfortable, Ember warms up quickly and becomes wonderfully affectionate, happily accepting gentle chin scratches and turning into a super smoochy companion.
