About Winter
Winter is a beautiful, gentle soul who has lived in a home before and knows all about family life. She arrived at the shelter quite worried, and it took her a little time to come out of her shell - but with patience and kindness, she's shown just how soft and loving she truly is.Winter can be a bit unsure at first, but she warms up wonderfully with gentle interactions and reassurance. Once she feels safe, she transforms into a big, affectionate gentle giant who loves being close to her people. She would benefit from having someone home for the first few days or even the first week to help her settle into her new environment and routine. A calm, predictable start will help her feel secure.Winter may do well with older, respectful children who understand when she needs space. She'll need to meet the whole family at the time of adoption to ensure everyone gets along. She has lived with another dog before and has shown herself to be very gentle and chilled around other dogs in the shelter. Winter would likely enjoy having a calm canine friend in the home - but as always, a meet‑and‑greet is essential.Winter can be a bit of a picky eater, preferring a mix of wet and dry food to keep her happy. If you're looking for a soft‑natured, affectionate companion who just needs a little patience to shine, Winter might be the perfect addition to your family. My adoption price includes: A FREE 4kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $450 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
