About Hopper
Hopper would do best with a patient and understanding adopter who recognises that he may be timid in a new environment and needs time to show his true personality. He should start in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the house, as he can become easily overwhelmed in large, open spaces. Providing multiple safe spots-scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers-will help him feel secure, giving him both high and low areas to retreat to. Hopper greets confidently at the door with a tall tail, soft oval eyes, and gentle bunting for pets, often purring and sniffing intently to get to know his people. During meet and greets, he may pause or hiss briefly if another animal passes by, but he easily returns when called and resumes seeking affection. Teens who can read basic cat body language and give him space when needed are ideal. Once he feels safe, Hopper becomes a very affectionate boy who loves attention, sits close with his head on a lap or climbs up to solicit pats, happily plays with wand toys, and stays nearby throughout interactions. He also enjoys ending sessions with tasty treats like chicken or fish paste. With patience and care, he will blossom into a loving, playful companion who brings warmth and joy to his forever home.My adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $185 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
