About Leela

Leela is a young German Shepherd x Kelpie with all the intelligence and energy you'd expect from these incredible working breeds. She's an active, smart girl who loves to stay busy and engaged. Leela can be a little wary of new people and environments at first, but she settles quickly and, once comfortable, becomes very friendly and affectionate with her people.

Leela is highly food-motivated and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for ongoing training. She would thrive with plenty of mental enrichment, structured training, and long daily walks to meet her physical and intellectual needs. Leela would do best as the only dog in the household. She's best suited to a breed-experienced adult/teen home that understands her drive and can provide clear guidance, routine, and outlets for her energy.
