About Darwin

Hey there, Darwin here. I came into the RSPCA via ambulance with an injured leg. Sadly I had to have a leg amputated, but despite my timid nature at the moment, I'm a brave and affectionate litte guy. I love gentle pats and of course I love my food especially chicken. I'll need to be started in a small launch room and allowed time to settle before allowing to explore the rest of the house. It would be great to provide me with ample safe spaces both high and low all around the house: Scratch posts/ Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/ dressers etc. It is recommended I be adopted to a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Darwin will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! Ideally only older children or teens in the home who appreciate and understand cat body language. Anyhow, all that said, I have so much to offer my new family and would love the opportunity for a second chance at life.
