About Tim Tam
Meet Tim Tam
Tim Tam is a sensitive kitten who may take time to reveal his true personality. Tim Tam has slight difficulty with his eyesight which means he can be easily startled and wary of new environments, purely because he can't see as well as other cats can. He can be unsure with touch, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he enjoys gentle scratches and becomes an affectionate little love bug - leaning in, making biscuits, and chirping for attention.
Tim Tam requires a calm, quiet, adult-only household with no children or dogs. He must be adopted into a home with a confident cat companion, as he relies heavily on feline friends for comfort and confidence. His adopter should be patient, understanding, and experienced with shy or fearful cats, allowing him the time and space he needs to adjust.
Tim Tam thrives with other cats and loves to play - he's energetic, goofy, and enjoys zoomies and roughhousing with his kitty friends. He is highly toy-motivated, especially with wand and ball toys, and also very food-driven. Treats (particularly paste-style) are a great way to build his trust. He really loves roast chicken too!
Tim Tam's vision impairment means he will need a stable, predictable environment and an adopter who understands his limitations. With patience, consistency, and the support of a confident cat friend, he has the potential to grow into a playful and endearing companion.
