About Sammy

Sammy is a young Jack Russell Terrier x Chihuahua with the sweetest, softest nature. This little guy may be small in size, but his heart is huge. He's a gentle, submissive boy who just wants to feel safe and loved.

Sammy has previously lived as part of a large group of dogs, so he's very comfortable around other canine companions and would likely enjoy a home with a calm, friendly dog to help show him the ropes. Because of his past, he's still learning about the big wide world and can feel unsure out in public. New environments can be a little overwhelming for him, so he'll need a patient adopter who is happy to take things slowly and build his confidence step by step.

He'll also need some lead training, as this is all quite new to him. With kind guidance, positive reinforcement, and plenty of encouragement, Sammy will blossom. He's a loving, affectionate boy who bonds closely with his people and will thrive in a calm home where he feels secure.
