About Asmira

Asmira is a beautiful, affectionate girl with a loyal heart and so much love to give. She is searching for a calm, gentle home where she can feel safe, settled and truly part of the family. Once she forms a bond, Asmira is incredibly devoted and loves being close to her people.

She can be a little unsure around new people and unfamiliar situations, and may take a little longer to feel comfortable around some men, but with patience, kind handling and a few tasty treats, she soon begins to relax and show her sweet nature. Asmira will thrive best in a quieter home with a predictable routine and people who can give her the time and reassurance she needs to adjust.

Asmira would love a home where someone is around for much of the day, such as a work-from-home or retired household, as she enjoys company and feels most secure when her people are nearby. She enjoys enrichment, has lovely mealtime manners, and is a clever girl who responds beautifully to calm guidance and consistency.

Asmira may also enjoy the company of a calm canine friend after gentle introductions and would be best suited to a home with respectful teens. She will also need some management around cats and wildlife as has shown prey drive.

She does have a history of jumping fences, so her new family will need to be mindful of this and provide a secure, confined space for any times she is left alone. Supervision outdoors, especially while she is settling in, will also be important to help her feel safe and prevent any escape attempts if she becomes startled or overwhelmed.
