Meet Starsky!Starsky is a lovable, affectionate young dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He adores people and will happily soak up all the pats and cuddles he can get-he's a real "velcro dog" who loves being close to his humans.Still very puppy-like, Starsky is playful, boisterous, and a little cheeky. He loves squeaky toys, is highly food motivated, and already knows "sit," with lots of potential to learn more. He'll thrive with ongoing, positive training to help him build good manners and learn how to settle.Starsky can be a bit anxious and easily distracted, especially on walks where new sights and sounds can overwhelm him. He'll need patient adopters who can go at his pace, build his confidence, and help him feel safe in the world. At home, he'll need guidance and patience to help him get comfortable being alone, and plenty of enrichment to keep him busy! He may do best with a calm, confident dog companion to learn from, but isn't suited to homes with cats or small animals.Starsky is looking for a committed home ready to guide him with kindness and consistency. In return, he'll offer endless affection, loyalty, and plenty of fun along the way.
