About Rusty

Say Hello to Rusty!
Rusty is a happy, energetic boy who absolutely loves life and isn't shy about showing it! He gets very excited and can be a bit jumpy when he's having fun, so he'd be best suited to a home with older kids who can handle his enthusiasm.
This playful guy will do best with someone who has time to spend with him, helping him learn some extra manners. Rusty already knows his sit and is very treat‑focused (sometimes a little too keen!), but with patience and consistent training he'll shine.
Rusty loves to stay busy and will need lots of toys, games, and daily enrichment to keep his clever brain occupied. He's always keen for something to do and would thrive in an active home.
When it comes to other dogs, Rusty is happy to meet them, especially the ladies! A meet and greet is a must to make sure everyone gets along. He's still learning his lead manners and can pull at times, but with guidance and practice he'll get there.
A home with secure, solid fencing is recommended, as Rusty can be a little reactive in yard situations.
