About Penelope

Penelope is a gentle girl who is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace. She may be timid when first entering a new environment, so it's important she begins in a small launch room and is given plenty of time to feel safe before exploring the rest of the house.
Providing scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hiding spots will help Penelope build her confidence and feel secure in her surroundings. She will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that it may take a little while for her true personality to shine. Penelope would be best suited to a home with teens or older children who can read her body language and respect her need for space when needed.
Once she feels comfortable, Penelope shows her sweet and affectionate side. She loves gentle pats and cheek scratches, and will happily bunt, roll onto her side, and make "biscuits." She has a soft spot for fishy paste treats, though chicken isn't her favourite!

No young children, teenagers would be ok. Has not been tested with other animals.
