Patch is a spirited 4yo Parson Russell Terrier who truly embodies her breed. Lively and energetic, she loves chasing a ball, playing tug, and having a "job" to keep her busy. Bold and confident, Patch is friendly but values her independence, she's definately not a lap dog, but will happily relax beside you on the couch after she's had enough exercise and stimulation. She responds best to consent based handling and prefers interactions on her own terms. Intelligent and a natural problem solver, she also has a determined, sometimes stubborn streak, so she'll thrive with an experienced, breed savvy owner who can provide structure and enrichment. Patch is alert and can be vocal, with strong instincts to patrol and watch over her home, and her high prey drive means she'll need a household without small animals. She needs to be the only pet.
