Hi, I'm Rubble

I'm a good boy with a big nose and an even bigger heart. Life didn't always go smoothly for me-especially when it came to food-but since being at the shelter, I've been learning that meals come regularly now. I'm starting to relax and trust that I don't have to worry anymore.

One thing you should know about me: I take my sniffing very seriously. Walks aren't just walks-they're full investigations. Every leaf, every patch of grass, every mysterious scent... I'm on the case. Some might say I'd make a great detective (or maybe even a truffle hunter ).

On the lead, I'm actually quite polite. I don't pull much, and I'm happy to stroll along by your side-just as long as I can pause for my important sniffing duties.

I'm still figuring out other dogs. When I see them, I can get a bit unsure-sometimes a little barky, sometimes just curious with my tail wagging. I think I need more gentle introductions and positive experiences to build my confidence. With time and patience, I'll get there.

At home, I'm a different kind of guy-calm, quiet, and happy to be near my people. I've been lovely with visitors and settled in nicely, even sleeping through the night on my bed like a champ. I also seem to have my toilet manners sorted-no accidents here!

The big world can still feel a little scary sometimes, and I might get spooked by new or unexpected things. Because of that, I'd really love a home that can help me grow my confidence at my own pace and show me that life is safe and full of good things.

I could live with kids (with a proper meet first), and with the right introductions, I may be able to make some dog friends too. I can live with full-time workers and would benefit from living with another dog.
