About Sausageton
Sausageton is a tiny feathered citizen of questionable origin and high emotional intensity. Known for dramatic staring contests, aggressive affection, and the belief that personal space is a myth, Sausageton runs on seeds, chaos, and love.
Despite the name, Sausageton is not edible (legally or morally) and prefers climbing curtains over becoming brunch.
Care Guide for Sausageton
Housing
Needs a roomy cage (bigger than you think-these birds are tiny but act large)
Horizontal bars for climbing acrobatics
Toys, ropes, and shreddable things (they WILL redecorate aggressively)
Diet
High-quality seed mix + pellets as a base. Fresh fruits and veggies (apple, carrot, spinach are good options)
Absolutely no avocado, chocolate, caffeine (Sausageton will try anyway)
Social needs
Extremely social-expects attention like it's rent due weekly. Can bond strongly with humans or another bird. If ignored: will scream opinions about it
Enrichment
Mirrors, bells, foraging toys
Daily out-of-cage time (supervised unless you enjoy chaos decorating your house)
