Meet Alfie!

This Smithfield Collie is an exceptionally intelligent, high-energy dog with true working-line instincts. He is eager to learn, keen to be involved, and happiest when he has a job to do.

He loves to work, wants to please, and will thrive with someone who understands active herding breeds and can provide structure, training, enrichment, and plenty of purposeful activity. This is not a dog suited to a casual or first-time home; he needs an experienced handler who can channel his drive in a positive way.

Energy level: Very high. Long walks won't cut it. Alfie needs to run, herd, problem-solve, and burn real mental and physical energy every single day.

Temperament: Intelligent, responsive, eager to please, work-focused

Ideal home: Experienced, active, dog-savvy, with time for training and enrichment

Important: Ideally, he will be the only dog in the home
